Set up and tear down

We call this team "Team Nehemiah"
This is one of the most vital teams for our church. Sunday's literally begin and end with Team Nehemiah. Want to get involved quickly? Want to make a huge difference and meet new people? Team Nehemiah is for you. Here are the 3 areas.

TRAILER DELIVERY & PICK UP.

Specific requirements:

  • A large truck with a 2 1/2in ball and electric brake hook up
  • Picking up the trailer from Ladera Ranch mini storage and having it Capo by 6:30am Sunday morning
  • Returning the trailer after Sunday services to Ladera Ranch mini storage
  • Time commitment is once a month

PRE-SERVICE SET UP

Specific requirements:

  • Arriving at Capo at 6:30 to help set up one or more of the ministry areas on Sunday
  • Time commitment is one month on, one month off

POST-SERVICE TEAR DOWN

Specific requirements:

  • Arriving at Capo at 12:15 to help pack up, clean up and put the school back together
  • Time commitment is one month on, one month off

Guest Services

Help make Crossline a friendly and inviting place for our guests.

GREETING TEAM - We call it "Go Greeters"

Specific requirements:

  • A smiling face and welcoming spirit
  • A willingness to seek out new guests, welcome them and assist them
  • Helping facilitate the offerings
  • Time commitment is 2 times a month for one service

INFORMATION CENTER

Specific requirements:

  • A smiling face and welcoming spirit
  • Attending our info center to answer questions and distribute resources

BULLETIN ASSEMBLY

Specific requirements:

  • Arriving at Capo at 7:30 to fill our bulletins with inserts
  • Time commitment is once a month

DONUTS & COFFEE

Specific requirements:

  • Arriving at Capo at 8:30 to help set up
  • Attending the donut and coffee table
  • Time commitment is one service a month

PARKING TEAM

Specific requirements:

  • Arriving at Capo at 8:30 and assisting cars until 9:00 or..
  • Arriving at Capo at 10:30 and assisting cars until 11:00
  • Time commitment is one month on, one month off

Visitation & Care

 

Meal Team

  • Be available to prepare and deliver home cooked meals to those in need.
  • Flexible schedule- you choose the date(s) that work best for you.


Hospital Visits

  • Be available to visit and pray with those who are hospitalized or hurting.
  • Flexible schedule- you choose the time that works best for you.

Children

We call our Children's Ministry "Gameday" Where our kids learn to TAKE THE FIELD, KNOW THE BOOK, and PLAY TO WIN!

INFANTS - 5TH GRADE

Specific requirements:

  • Beginning Childhood (infants - 3 years) volunteers communicate God's love through gentle care, and simple songs and activities.
  • Early childhood (4 years - Grade 1) volunteers teach solid Bible story doctrine and age-appropriate basics of the faith through small-group discussion, activities and a large-group music & storytelling experience with Dean-o!
  • Later childhood (Grades 2 -5) volunteers teach God's Word as a whole and encourage kids to explore and discover its uniqueness on their own initiative through small and large-group encounters with God's Word.
  • Time commitment is once a month in Beginning childhood and weekly in Early and Later Childhood.

TRAINING & TEACHING

Specific requirements:

  • GAMEDAY "Coaches" huddle weekly as a team for prayer and enrichment before the program begins.
  • GAMEDAY volunteers meet individually with the staff to qualify as a volunteer for children.

ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT

Specific requirements:

  • Volunteers are used weekly to perform administrative tasks both in and outside the church office.
  • During yearly events such as TVBS or camps, volunteers perform tasks both in and outside the church office.

 

Adult Ministries

 

We have 3 ministries that serve our adults. Men's Ministry, Women's Ministry, we call it HEARTLINE, and our Young Adults Ministry known as FOUNDATIONS

MEN'S MINISTRY

Specific requirements:

  • Small Group leadership - Leadership Application and meeting required
  • Sports Connect leader - Gathering men for a specific sport
  • Men's Leadership team -Helps plan events and implement vision
  • Set up and Tear down "TEAM NEHEMIAH"

WOMEN'S MINISTRY

  • Hospitality Team- organize and plan hospitality for special events or weekly Bible studies
  • Technical Team- post Bible study talks and photos on website, help with audio/visual at special events and Bible study, create videos
  • Meal Team- provide home cooked meals to those in need
  • Prayer Team- join monthly prayer meeting and commit to pray for Crossline women and needs of our ministry
  • Bible Study small group leader- Biblical and ministry requirements outlined in Leadership Application
  • Special Events –plan retreats and special events
  • Mentoring – disciple and mentor in one-on-one relationship
  • Outreach projects- organize or help with semiannual projects to aid missionaries and/or community organizations
  • Other- let us know how you feel called to use your special gift or ability

YOUNG ADULTS MINISTRY "FOUNDATIONS"

  • planning/organizing events
  • leading worship for fellowship nights
  • leading/hosting a small group

Technical & Skilled

Every ministry at Crossline has TECHNICAL & SKILLED needs. The below listed are only some of them and they can almost always be applied to ministries such as MEN'S, WOMEN'S, STUDENTS, CHILDREN. If your area of expertise is not listed then please let us know what it is so we can get you connected to the appropriate team.

AUDITORIUM AUDIO SET UP

Specific requirements:

  • Setting up the main sound system on Sunday mornings
  • Time commitment is once a month from 7:00 - 8:30am

PODCAST MANAGEMENT

Specific requirements:

  • Experience with podcasting
  • Time commitment is based on the specific project

MEDIA CREATION

Specific requirements:

  • Experience with media software - Final Cut Pro, iMovie, iDVD, DVD PRO, After Effects, Motion, Shake...
  • Time commitment is based on the specific project

CAMERA OPERATION

  • Filming sermon portion of our Sunday morning adult service
  • Time commitment is once month from 8:30 - 10:15

PHOTOGRAPHY

  • Capturing images from various church events and overall church life at Crossline

FACEBOOK & MYSPACE CREATION AND MANAGEMENT

  • Create and manage a FACEBOOK and MYSPACE account for Crossline
  • Must meet with Darren King prior to creation and launch

LIGHTING

  • Help us run the lighting for our services at either the 9:00 or 11:00 services
  • Time commitment is once a month for the duration of the service

GRAPHIC ARTS

Specific requirements

  • Experience with graphic programs such as Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop
  • Examples or porfolio needed
  • Time commitment is based on the specific project

CRAFTSMANSHIP

Specific requirements

  • Experience with construction and buidling materials
  • Personal tools
  • Time commitment is based on the specific project

Student Ministries

  • Tear Down until 1pm.
  • Hospitality team 10 minutes before and after service starts.
  • Post-service clean up.

ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT

  • Website update and maintenence.
  • Assistance with mailers.
