Sunday Morning
Seek the Lord for flourishing and fruitfulness (Isaiah 55:6-13)
God invites us to seek Him—not just for what He gives, but for who He is. Isaiah 55 reveals the path to true flourishing through God's mercy, His higher ways, the power of His Word, and His promise of joy and peace. When we seek the Blesser, fruitfulness follows.

Seek the Lord for the Nations
Isaiah 55 offers a powerful invitation from God to all people—an open call to receive life, mercy, and covenant promises without cost. In verses 1–3a and 6–7, we see a universal invitation extended to the thirsty and the hungry, calling them to seek the Lord while He may be found. This appeal is not limited by wealth or status, but is freely offered to all who repent and turn to Him.
In verses 3b–4, God reaffirms His everlasting covenant, rooted in the faithful love promised to David—a covenant ultimately fulfilled in Christ, the eternal King (Luke 1:30–33). This points forward to the global reign of Jesus, the descendant of David who rules with justice and grace.
Verse 5 casts a vision of kingdom expectation, where unfamiliar nations are drawn to the glory of God. This anticipates the global mission of the gospel—fulfilled in Christ’s commission (Matthew 28:18–20) and culminating in the worship of people from every nation (Revelation 5:9). Isaiah 55 reveals God's heart for the nations: to freely offer salvation, establish His eternal kingdom, and gather a global people to Himself.

Facing Goliath
This message explores the timeless story of David and Goliath, reminding us that every believer faces spiritual battles and towering giants of fear, doubt, and opposition. We see how David refused to be paralyzed by intimidation, silenced by negative voices, or confined to human strength and strategy. Instead, he trusted the God who had delivered him before and boldly declared truth in the face of lies. With faith, courage, and obedience, David ran toward the battle and experienced victory through God’s power. This sermon challenges us to face our giants not with earthly weapons, but with the confidence that the battle belongs to the Lord, and when we step forward in faith, He brings the triumph.

Pentecost Sunday
Will we, like Peter, seize our moment? The Spirit has been poured out—now it’s our time to speak, to testify, and to call others to salvation in Jesus Christ.
On the day of Pentecost, as the Holy Spirit is poured out with power and signs, the Apostle Peter rises to seize a divine moment. In this sermon, we reflect on how Peter courageously addresses the crowd, interpreting the supernatural events through the lens of Scripture, beginning with the prophecy of Joel. He explains that what they are witnessing is not confusion or drunkenness, but the fulfillment of God's promise to pour out His Spirit on all people.
Peter then shifts from explanation to proclamation. With boldness, he declares the gospel: Jesus of Nazareth—crucified, risen, and exalted—is both Lord and Messiah. Through the lens of David’s prophecy, Peter proves that Jesus' resurrection was foretold and confirms that He is the One through whom salvation comes.
This Pentecost Sunday, we are invited to remember not only the outpouring of the Spirit, but the power of the gospel that accompanied it. Like Peter, we are called to interpret our moment through God’s Word and proclaim the risen Christ with clarity and conviction.
