Romans 10:9

⁹ If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

Big Idea

Declaring what we believe is an expression of faith. When we believe in Christ; His Lordship and resurrection, and declare our belief, then God says we are saved. The mouth confesses what is genuinely in the heart. Believers in Jesus Christ confess to God, themselves and others that Jesus is Lord.

Personal Take Away

When we declared our belief in Christ as our Savior and Lord, God saved us by His grace. It is based on believing and declaring what is true about Jesus. He is the resurrected Lord. Jesus is alive and He is alive in us! Surrender your life today to Christ and ask Him to live His resurrection life through you. Declare to God and to others that you believe in Christ.
