“Movin’ On Up Sunday” is right around the corner on June 6th!  This is the day that current 5th graders will transition from Crossline Kids to officially joining Crux, the Student Ministries of Crossline Church!

“Movin’ On Up Sunday” is June 6th and in Crux we do it up BIG!  This is a super important weekend to be at church because Crux tries to do everything possible to make the new 6th graders feel welcome.  This transition can be a little scary so they do special games, a special welcome, and a special message to make the transition easier.  This year the  transition will made easier than ever due to the fact that Crux has officially moved into their new Youth Room space in the downstairs of the Crossline Kids building! Simply walk your new 6th grade downstairs and you will see one of the Crux staff members in the hallway waiting to check them in and welcome them into the game room.

After “Movin’ On Up Sunday” services Crux does a special “open house” event for the incoming 6th graders and their families called the “Sixth Grade Scoop.”  This is a great time for our Middle School Director, Sarah Aungst, and the Crux Staff to meet you and have a little extra time with our new Crux members. You will have some scoops of ice cream and get the inside scoop about Crux. The Crux Staff is so excited to meet you guys and tell you everything you could ever want to know about Crux summer events, Sunday services, curriculum, CruxGroups, and more!  The “Sixth Grade Scoop” is June 6th AFTER EACH SERVICE so make sure to swing by to say hi!  We will have plenty of ice cream for the whole family!
