Have you been home for too long and miss your crux family? Well, GET STOKED for Netflix Party!!
On Friday, March 20 at 7:00PM, Crux is hosting a Movie night via Netflix. That’s right! Netflix now allows friends and families to watch the same movie at the same time with chat boxes to comment as you go.
But there are important steps you need to follow in order for Netflix Party to work on your laptop. But we promise it’s super easy to follow!
Here are steps to installing Netflix Party on your laptop:
- Download Netflix Party on your laptop: If you use Safari for internet, you MUST download and use Google Chrome.
- On google chrome, type in netflixparty.com
- Then, click on “Get Netflix Party for Free” button
- Then, on chrome web store, click “Add to Chrome” and then click “Add Extension” in the pop-up window. Netflix Party will then be added to the top right corner of your Google Chrome browser, next to the address bar. It will have the initials “NP.”
- After that, wait for the link CRUX will send to you at 7PM tonight! Once you click that link, you will be watching a movie with us!!!
- IF, you click the movie link and it opens on safari, IT WILL NOT WORK! If that’s the case, please manually input the link on your Google Chrome browser.
Reminder: Netflix Party will not work if you do not have NP downloaded on your Google Chrome!
