CruxGroups

What is a CruxGroup?

CruxGroups are our mid-week bible studies for students in 6th-12th grade. They meet on Wednesday nights during the Fall and Spring and take a break during the Summer. Each week, students spend time studying God’s word, gathering in community, and having fun!

CruxGroups are purposefully designed to help students get plugged in and develop a deeper community at Crux. We recognize that building friendships and feeling known is extremely hard for teenagers; we believe that CruxGroups are the best way to overcome that feeling. Each group is intentionally created by placing students into a group of the same gender and grade and given an adult leader (or two) to walk alongside them and guide them through the year. Leaders are hand chosen, vetted, and prayerfully placed with their groups.

Each CruxGroup is given a weekly curriculum that is age-appropriate and age-specific. Our prayer is that through intentionally studying God’s word together, students would come to know Christ as savior and Lord. Our desire is that students would not only identify as Christians but live like Christians too. CruxGroups exists to provide a safe place for students to do just that.
