High School Girls of Crux! We’re excited to announce that Winter Retreat 2020 is happening February 28- March 1st in lovely Big Bear!
That’s right, we’re heading into the mountains with our girls to get away from the hustle and bustle of Orange County in order to be refreshed, have some fun, and to focus on God.
While in Big Bear our students will be surrounded by their FRIENDS, some amazing sledding/skiing/boarding opportunities, the lovely atmosphere of the town of Big Bear, wilderness adventuring, maybe a dance party or three, and of course time spent worshipping God through music and the Word. Talk about a cozy and wonderful time!
We’ll be staying in two gigantic cabins (one for the girls and one for the guys) which are about 5-10 minutes outside of downtown Big Bear, we’ll be providing some amazing food, and doing all transportation TO and FROM Bear so that our students will have everything they need for an incredible weekend.
Some of our amazing Crux Leaders will be there with our students as well! Our leaders are there so that our students are safe, having fun, have someone to talk to, and have someone to provide spiritual guidance as we talk about Jesus and the Gospel.
Weekends like this are some of the best times for our students, because it is a time for them to decompress from school and get away. School can be an intense and draining experience, so this type of weekend really provides an opportunity to relax and unplug. It’s also an awesome opportunity for our Crux staff to hang out with our students and get to know them in better and deeper ways. So really, why would anyone want to miss out on something like this?!
Our cost for the trip is $300 (which includes a $120 non refundable deposit to save a spot). Again, this price includes transportation to and from winter retreat, a 3 day 2 night stay in a private lodge, and all meals except lunch on the way up and on the way back. To help offset cost we do offer a payment plan.
