“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” – Acts 1:8

Acts 1:8 was the last command Jesus gave to his disciples before he went up to heaven. Jesus told them to go and be his witnesses in their city (Jerusalem), their state (Judea), their country (Samaria), and the world. At Crux, we want to model the same command and put it in our context: To be witnesses in Orange County, California, USA, and the World.

This November, BOTH middle & high school students have an opportunity to head down to San Diego on a 48hr mission with CRUX. The goal of this trip is for students to learn how to share their faith with people while displaying the love of Jesus to those who are in need of help! We must say, We’re excited about what students will experience and learn during this trip!

We are partnering up with a ministry called New Vision Urban Mission that exists to expand outreach to the homeless, the impoverished, and the disenfranchised of urban San Diego. In this particular trip, our students will be involved in face-to-face street evangelism and back pack ministry to the homeless. How exciting!!

Time: Friday, 3:30PM – Sunday, 3:00PM

Where: New Vision Christian Fellowship (4353 Park Boulevard San Diego, CA 92103)

Cost: $200.oo (2 payments of $100)
