At Crossline we consider anyone who is "owning" a piece of ministry as part of our staff team. Some of our staff are paid and some simply are volunteers serving and leading out of their own unique giftedness. The categories to the right are a breakdown of ministry areas. Please look around, find out a little more about us and even send us an email if you need information about our areas of ministry.

I am a proud father of my son Riley and daughter, to be named, due in August. I have been married to my beautiful wife Audrea for 9 years. We have been going to crossline for two years now and it has truly changed our lives. I grew up going to church but really backslid through my twenties. I thought that I did not need God and was trying to fill my life with things of this world. I finally realized at 30 that I would never be satisfied and that there was a hole in my heart that could only be filled by the grace and love of God. I surrendered my life back over to him and have been growng in my faith and want to serve him any way I can.
A lot of people at church do not know that I have been a musician since I was 13 and sang backup and played bass guitar in the worship band at Coast Light Community Church during my teen years. I also was a lead singer and song writer in a local rock band for over 10 years.
I love Crossline because of the clear and biblical teaching that JP presents in his sermons. The worship band is absolutely amazing and I am often filled with emotion as we sing worship Sunday mornings. I love the great community of people that are striving to serve the Lord and support and love one another in our journey to be more like Christ.

I got married 3/31/07 to my best friend Matthew in Dana Point. We have a child named Daylee and she is a Brittany Spaniel. We love to all spend time together going on hikes and long walks in the mountains. We have been going to Crossline since it has existed, and JP even married us! I got my BA at Azusa Pacific University and double majored in Youth Ministries and Christian Ministries.
I absolutely love my garden. I can't wait to wake up Saturday mornings and see what the local Lowes garden section has recevied in their flower department. I love planting, watering, digging new holes and cutting fresh flowers for our family to enjoy while we eat dinner. Summer time is the best because 5 days out of the week, we sit in our backyard on our swing and enjoy our little garden together.
I love Crossline because I really believe it is a place where people can come as they are. People can bring all of their junk in their lives and lay it at the cross when they walk in the doors Sunday mornings. Then they walk out with a fresh perspective and a new beginning.

Studied engineering & mathematics in college and aircraft mechanics in trade school. I have had careers in aerospace building spacecraft & spy satellites, owed a locksmith business, built jumbo jets for Boeing, ran factories as a plant engineer, professionally cooked & catered, worked in ministry as a facilities director for a large church., started my own property services & inspection company and now work for UCI as a student housing operation director
While managing my son's acting career, I started auditioning for my own roles, spent two seasons on a realty makeover TV show as the carpenter. Did some work on a few movies, prime time TV shows, hosted a documentary on the 2nd world war and pursued voice over work & audio book reading. I was picked by ABC for a new reality TV series, where my family and I lived with an African tribe, the Nyangatom, in the Omo River Region of Southwestern Ethiopia and I had to become a member of the tribe, kill a bull with a spear, smearing fecal matter on my chest and dancing around with just a towel on, in the 125 degree heat.
I love Crossline because I personally relate to the motivation for why it was started, where it's come from and it's vision for where it's going. I can't imagine a better group of people, committed to advancing God's kingdom, that I could be part of, this side of heaven

His son, David, is also a member of Crossline Church. Scott has been a member for over two years. Scott has one Master's Degree in Theology from Dallas Theological Seminary, a Master's Degree from United States International University, and his PsyD (ABD) is from Alliant International University. Scott has counselled about 34 years, and is President/CEO of his own non-profit organization called In Touch Relationships, Inc.
I was senior pastor in San Diego for 5 years; also Minister of Music in various churches for 4 years, and Youth Pastor for 5 years in Huntington Beach, CA.
Many things: I love the commitment to preach the Word of God as inspired, inerrant, and eternal. I love our Senior Pastor J.P.'s preaching which always blesses and challenges me. I love our church staff who are all authentic, seek to grow continually in their personal walk with Christ and effectiveness in their call to ministry. I love that there are no "masks"; no "politics", and freedom to allow God's Holy Spirit to minister to and through the Body.

I have been a part of Crossline since the start and have had the joy of watching God grow us from a living room to the church we are today. I graduated from USC (fight on!) with a degree in business and enjoyed a career with IBM as a marketing representative. But I remember the exact day that God changed my heart and gave me a desire to do something more eternally significant. And now I have the greatest job serving God by serving the women of Crossline! I have been married for 25 years to Chuck, the greatest husband in the world. We are blessed with three wonderful kids- Chas, age 22, Brad, age 20, and Becca age 15.
