Romans 8:11 (NLT)

The Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you. And just as God raised Christ Jesus from the dead, he will give life to your mortal bodies by this same Spirit living within you.

The Big Idea:
If you are a follower of Jesus Christ, this promise is yours: The same Spirit of God that raised Jesus from the dead is alive in you! The Holy Spirit lives in every believer as God’s guarantee and promise that we will live with Him forever.

The Take Away:
Eternal life is not just a promise for the next life, it is an invitation to forever life with Christ beginning here and now. The indwelling Holy Spirit gives believers a new identity, a totally new and different life.

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!” 2 Corinthians 5:17
