Middle School 24HR Mission

The annual missions trip opportunity for Middle Schoolers is back and better than ever!!!

The “24hr Mission” is a brand new serve opportunity for 6th-8th graders that will focus on serving where we live! The Middle Schoolers of Crux used to do the “LA Mission” but the last time they went Sarah realized that students had the impression that there were only people in need in places like LA.  Her determination to shift this view inspired the “24HR Mission” where CruxMS students will serve exactly where they are at in South OC.  We do not need to go far away to bless people and serve the least of these, there is need all around us!

We’ll be gathering up on Friday after school for a whirlwind 24 hours of serving and fun.  Students will arrive on Friday and start serving immediately by serving our church through a work project.  Then we will do dinner on campus, have a service that teaches and trains the students on serving, and sleep on campus (in separate areas with a ton of leaders for the parents reading this with some concern haha).  Saturday we will wake up early, eat breakfast, and serve the whole day at multiple serve sites.

The Deets:

When:  April 20-21st

Where: Crossline Church is Home Base

Who: Middle Schoolers 6-8th

Cost: $50 (cheapest MS missions trip to date)

Our main purposes as Christ-followers are to love, serve, and go.  This trip will accomplish all of those purposes.  So the question is, will you accept the challenge to serve and bless as many people in Orange County as possible in 24 hours (and have a BLAST doing it)?
